Let it be stated for the record that my husband literally, not figuratively, pushed my finger down on the Publish Your Kindle eBook button, as has been the tradition since I first published For Ever on February 12, 2012. I had wanted to wait until 11/7/17, because the date sounded nice, much like 2/12/12. Then my husband asked, "What are you waiting for?"
Seeing as I have little to no patience, it was probably for the best that I didn't try to wait another three-plus days to publish. The anticipation would have caused me to explode in a ball of anxiety.
